Stacey Olika is a British Nigerian multidisciplinary artist with a passion for storytelling. She is intrigued in the narrative and represenation of those underreperesented in society.
Stacey was born in New York, raised in Switzerland with Nigerian heritage and now resides in Bristol, England. Her osmosis of culture has had a large impact into her lens of the world.
Looking into the perspective and mindset of the African diaspora living in post colonial Britain. Her work invites much needed conversations.
She currently works in production for BBC Bristol and runs a multidisciplinary creative business, AMAKADESIGNS whilst being the co founder of No Boundaries; a platform which aims to shine a light on creatives.
She is also a speaker on subjects surrounding young people and creative access.
Stacey was named one of Bristols Most Influential Creatives under 24 in 2017 and 2019 and has been nominated for a Rise Award ‘Young Entrepreneurr of the Year’ 2019 and Bristol Social Impact Award ‘Young Community Leader’ 2019.
